Failed Septic Tank and Drainage Field
The problem
Over time the existing septic tank and drainage field had become less and less effective. A failure in the tank had led to the drainage field blocking and eventually the system failed completely. Leading to the client having to have the tank emptied on a regular basis. Until a new system could be installed.
The solution
Following a site visit and investigation we identified the most effective solution for the client. Percolation tests showed the area was suitable for a drainage field. This was installed in an adjacent paddock on slightly higher ground.

New Drainage Field shortly after installation
For this situation we selected a Condor ASP with a pumped outlet to lift the effluent to the drainage field on higher ground. The Conder ASP offers superior technical performance at a competitive price without compromising on quality. Maintenance and running costs are extremely low. In most situations, they have a better than industry standard average emptying frequency.

Condor ASP being installed
There was a relatively high water table in the area where the plant was installed. Therefore, a larger than normal excavation was needed with additional concrete. To support the new drainage installation. However, this was identified during our initial site visit. This was allowed for in the quote, ensuring the installation was completed on time.
